Worship with children
We believe that children and young people are as important as adults in the life of the church. The following services and events are designed with the needs and interests of children in mind. All of them are free and open to all ages.
Messy church
2nd Sunday of the month 3pm-4.30pm at St Peter’s Church, DY117RJ
MESSY CHURCH is for everyone, whether you’ve come since you were small or you’ve never been to church before. The 2025-2026 adventure is ’
Messy Church and the Curious Box of Books’. Each month we explore a popular book and discover what we can learn.
Messy Church is for ALL AGES, there are crafts and activities suitable for every age group, and plenty for adults to get involved with too. Come and explore activities, join in a story and singing, and enjoy refreshments.
MESSY CHURCH is FREE, there’s no need to book, and no pressure to come every month—we’d love to see you as often as you can make it.

A note about children in Sunday worship
We want you to know that children are ALWAYS very welcome at ANY of our advertised services or events. There are no formal Sunday school groups during morning services, but many of our churches have children’s areas, activity bags to take back to your seat, or craft spaces for children to use.
